What's it all about?
We are all about spreading joy on Instagram amongst mamas + homemakers.
Every few months we host a campaign using the hashtag #iamajoyfulhomemaker to spread joy and connect with fellow mamas and homemakers. We're out to show you that there is JOY in the everyday mundane tasks of homemaking and that homemaking isn't old-fashioned or stuffy...there is plenty of room for fun!
and this season we are spreading joy at christmastime.
Join us on Instagram on December 4th - December 6th
for special daily prompts designed to bring some christmas cheer
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Post a photo for each of the daily prompts and tag it with #iamajoyfulhomemaker. Then, click through hashtag and get to know everyone else who is spreading joy using the hashtag.
You can also sign up to get reminder emails leading up to the campaign and you'll get an email each day of the campaign, reminding you of the day's prompt. You will also be added to the Joyful Homemaker's Club email list where you get weekly #realtalk from Abby.
MEET THE JOY SPREADERS
Each campaign has an amazing group of women who are helping to spread joy. Meet the ladies in charge of spreading joy for our very special christmas campaign.
Abby is the creator of #iamajoyfulhomemaker and the mama behind Joyful Homemaker's Club. She is a wife to her high school sweetheart and mama to two boys with baby #3 coming in May 2018. When she's not blogging you can find Abby binge watching shows on Netflix or eating mini saltines (hello pregnancy food aversions).
Jennifer is a Wife and Mom of two, who spends her days knee deep in toddler tantrums and dirty diapers. While trips alone to Target rank high among the things she loves, she also enjoys DIYs, beach days, brain rotting reality TV, and a good fountain coke. Jennifer navigates the roads of Motherhood by day and desperately searches for the Sandman by night. Bringing you all the facets of Motherhood one grammatically incorrect blog post at a time.
Ruth Schwenk is the founder of TheBetterMom.com, and along with her husband, the creator of ForTheFamily.org. She is a pastor’s wife, mom of four energetic kids, a lover of coffee, and co-author of four books including Pressing Pause: 100 Quiet Moments for Moms to Meet With Jesus and For Better or For Kids: A Vow to Love Your Spouse with Kids in the House.
Rebekah Hargraves is a wife, mama of two littles, home business owner, podcaster, and blogger residing in TN. Her passion is to inspire fellow Christian women through her writings on her website, Hargraves Home and Hearth, which exists to “edify, equip, and encourage women in their journey of Biblical womanhood”. Rebekah’s first book, “Lies Moms Believe (And How the Gospel Refutes Them)”, released this November.
Page is a wife and mother based in Orange County, California. She and her husband Ralph have been together for 12 years and have two sons - Owen, who is 2 and a half years old, and Henry, 2 months old. Page works part-time as a nurse and enjoys watching movies, baking, and going to the Happiest Places on Earth - Disneyland, Target, and IKEA.
Faith is a Jesus-loving, coffee-drinking, stay-at-home wife and mama of two littles located in rural Kansas. When she's not busy running around her four year old and six month old, you can find her reading, gardening, blogging or baking up her next gluten free creation.
